Juan Jose Carrillo is an accomplished Quality, Food Safety, and Innovation executive with extensive experience across multinational manufacturing and supply chain operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

As Chief Innovation and Quality Officer at MAFI for Agricultural Produce Industries, Juan leads the company’s enterprise strategy for Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Innovation, HSE, and Sustainability. As a member of the Executive Committee, he aligns quality governance with corporate strategy, operational performance, and long-term value creation.

Throughout his career, Juan has developed enterprise-wide quality and food safety frameworks aligned with international standards, including ISO, BRC, IFS, and FSMA. He has strengthened regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across multi-site operations while integrating innovation, sustainability, and HSE into core business strategy.

Juan also champions the digitalisation of quality systems, improving visibility, control, and decision-making across manufacturing and supply chain operations. Known for his calm and structured leadership style, he builds high-performing teams grounded in accountability, transparency, and technical excellence.
