Amr Shendy is a seasoned financial executive with nearly 30 years of experience in treasury operations, corporate finance, and cash management. As Senior Treasury Director at MAFI, he leads the company’s financial strategy with a focus on liquidity management, banking relations, and securing the financial backbone needed to scale MAFI’s operations across global markets.

His extensive career includes executive leadership roles in major Egyptian companies. At Youm7 Newspaper, he served as Chairman and later Managing Director, steering the organization through key growth phases and elevating its strategic positioning in the media landscape. He was also a board member at El Khalig for Building Materials, where he contributed to corporate vision, governance, and long-term business planning.

In the industrial sector, Mr. Shendy held senior treasury roles at EGYPTIAN STEEL GROUP and served as General Manager at STELCO for Steel Plants Management, where he managed cash operations, financing activities, and resource allocation across large-scale manufacturing entities.

At MAFI, he is responsible for ensuring financial stability, optimizing working capital, and managing the company’s financial obligations with precision and foresight. His deep expertise in treasury systems and his ability to align financial strategy with business growth make him a key driver of MAFI’s long-term success.

Amr holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Cairo University, specializing in Accounting.
